Co-op survival crafting

Every kingdom begins with a single log.

Shape raw timber into a moving medieval home, then sail it across a drowned world where every expedition leads back to what you build together.

In active development by one solo developer

The moving-home rule

Your base is not where the journey stops.

It is the vessel that carries the adventure forward.

In Navareth, building is not about abandoning one shelter for the next. Each beam, workshop, and wall stays physically part of the home you take onto open water. Islands become expeditions: land, search, learn, and leave with what your settlement needs to grow.

Design vision The progression below describes the intended scale of the moving home, not a claim that every stage is playable today.

  1. Single log
  2. First raft
  3. Workshop
  4. Settlement
  5. Floating fortress

What shapes the voyage

Build. Endure. Bring it home.

Three principles keep survival pointed at the home you are making, not at chores that pull you away from it.

Build

A living vessel

Construction stays physically part of your moving home. Begin with almost nothing and make every addition count, out where the weather can reach it.

Endure

Survival without punishment

Hunger, thirst, stamina, weather, and preparation matter. Running low forces a change of plan; it does not delete an evening of work.

Explore

A drowned world

Set out for materials, knowledge, and progress. What you recover from the islands changes what your settlement can become.

One deck. One direction.

A shared home, built to carry a crew.

Navareth is designed around one moving home and server-authoritative foundations.

The intended co-op experience asks a crew to plan, build, provision, and watch the horizon together, without carving the vessel into separate personal plots. Solo play stays part of the direction.

Development target Co-op describes the intended design. It is not a currently downloadable multiplayer build.

A planned living world

Two banners on the same tide.

Work for both powers. Learn what they protect, and what they are willing to sacrifice.

Allegiance must be earned.

Reputation grows through the quests you complete and the choices you make. Work both sides; learn both sides.

But respect has a price. When the time comes to sail beneath one banner, the other will remember your decision.

  1. Hated
  2. Hostile
  3. Distrusted
  4. Neutral
  5. Friendly
  6. RespectedPoint of no return
  7. Revered

Planned system Reputation can grow with both sides before an explicit commitment at Respected. The chosen faction can reach Revered; its rival becomes Hostile. Allegiance is earned through quests, never picked from a menu.

Below deck

Built in the open, one piece at a time.

Navareth is being made in Unreal Engine 5.8 by one person, and this page follows along as it happens.

Here is what already runs: you can walk, sprint and swim, you get hungry, thirsty and tired, you can pick things up and use what is around you, and the five survival meters are on screen. Sprinting only tires you while you are actually moving. Building, water and the menus are coming together next. After that comes the long stretch — testing, content and polish.

The artwork on this page is where Navareth is headed. It is not a current gameplay capture.

What changed lately

Patch Notes

The in-game menu has a frame

The tabbed screen that will hold your inventory, character sheet and crafting now has its layout and texture. Empty for now — but it is the shape everything else slots into.

Early

Campfires, wells and deep water react

Sit at a campfire to rest, drink from a well to recover, or go under and watch your breath count down. Tested with two players sharing one world.

Working

The survival meters are on screen

Health, stamina, breath, hunger and thirst now show as five bars while you play, updating as the world wears on you.

Questions before boarding?

Clear answers about the game, its direction, and what exists today.

What is Navareth?

Navareth is a survival crafting game about turning raw timber into a moving medieval home and taking it across a drowned world.

Is Navareth solo or co-op?

Navareth is designed for both solo play and co-op around one shared moving home. Co-op is a development target, not a currently downloadable multiplayer build.

What is the current development state?

Navareth is in active development in Unreal Engine 5.8 by one solo developer. Core foundations are working while content, testing, iteration, and polish continue.

What makes Navareth different?

Cooperative survival with hands-on building is familiar ground. What Navareth does differently is make the whole base a single vessel that never anchors — it grows outward and downward and sails with you across the map, instead of sitting still while you adventure away from it.

When will Navareth release?

There is no release date. Navareth is early in development by one person. The first milestone is a playable slice, not a date — follow on Gamefound or Discord to hear about it first.

How much will it cost?

Pricing has not been decided. Navareth is planned as a one-time purchase, not free-to-play, with no loot boxes and no pay-to-win.

What platforms will it be on?

Navareth is being built for PC on Windows in Unreal Engine 5.8. Other platforms are not confirmed.

What does following on Gamefound do?

A Gamefound follow shows that people want this kind of cooperative, construction-driven survival game and keeps you connected to future project updates.

Is there a Steam page?

There is no public Steam page for Navareth yet. When an official destination is ready, it will be linked here.
